Project Overview:
Sir Elton John's Step Into Christmas Lyric video was delivered for the 2022 festive season. The client really enjoyed the Christmas lighting display featured in "Deck the Halls", which ultimately formed the primary reference point during pitching and production. Alongside this, we paid homage to the original music video with a cameo from the Rocketman himself and a very busy Santa taking his reindeer for a spin. The project utilised the full scope of the VFX pipeline, using Blender as my 3D package and AE for all things motion graphics and compositing.
CGI Breakdown
Here’s a short breakdown of the primary 3D scene and a few of the key compositing/post-processing stages. The pipeline utilised Blender 3.0 for everything 3D and After Effects for all things compositing/editing.
